Then, we'll write it. You'll help the fictional Colin and Sylvia save their fictional house.* You'll make this a novel both by and for the people.** You'll be entertained.

For example, why not:

Change the plot (An affair? A terrorist?)
Change the characters (Sylvia dyes her hair pink?)
Add your own details (Drunken monkeys? Hydrangeas?)
Suggest all of the above
